XDC INFORMATION
The
Dark Circle
When the war
began it it may have seemed clear enough, North VS South.
The leaders
of the two sides both claiming that the other was at fault for
all the evils that war unleashes upon the people.
As time wore
on the most enlightened of warriors began to see through the lies.
Thus THE DARK
CIRCLE was born.
As the truth
has spread, those who have heard the call have pilgrimaged from
the farthest regions of Terra Nova to join forces with the XDC.
But unfortunately not all may be accepted. Only the pilots who
demonstrate the highest skills and marksmanship are considered
for clan status. But skills alone are not enough, personal attitude
and a positive outlook on these dark times are equally important.
The Dark Circle
is a brotherhood of warriors, united to defeat the corrupted governments
that now hold Terra Nova on the brink of destruction. Old prejudices
and hatred die slowly, all the more reason not to create new ones.
Therefore the highest priorities of XDC clansmen are "Honor,
Respect, and Integrity ". The warrior we fight today may
someday receive enlightenment and be the clansman watching our
back tomorrow. It would be best if the pilot behind you was not
harboring a grudge for the time you blew up his favorite gear
and laughed at him for it. Rather have him remember the time you
complimented him for his skills and applauded his efforts.
The only hope
for TERRA NOVA is to be once again united under one flag. Our
economy and trade systems have been crippled, leaving us vulnerable
to attack from offworld forces. Already there are rumors of strangely
built scout ships being spotted over both the North and South
sides of Terra Nova. We can only pray that it is not already too
late.
There is an
ancient saying that goes "WAR IS HELL", the true meaning
of "hell" has been lost in the mists of time, but we
believe it must be a very unpleasant thing indeed.
